Trinket Box

Hey all

Today I'm at the Craftreat Blog with a decoupage tutorial on an MDF box.

First i primed the surface with white gesso and gave a thick coat of chalk paint.

After the paint dried, i applied Plaid Folkart Multisurface paint Look at me blue around the edges and bottom of the box and let it dry.

                                      

I then cut out a butterfly from the Craftreat Decoupage paper and stuck on the lid with Mod podge.

Finally i did the stenciling on the box with the same blue colour and Craftreat Beaded String stencil.
