Art is an activity through which the creator expresses the imaginative, conceptual idea or technical skill, intended to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power.
Today I'm at the Rhedd's Creative Spirit Blog with my new altered chocolate tin box with products from Folkart, Prima and Lindy's. I was inspired by the moodboard from Mixed Media & Art and Mixed Media Place blogs. The colours were so inviting and the theme with brushes and palette made my creative juices flow, and I recently bought this bulb embellishment that I wanted to use. So the mood boards triggered this spark in me and I ended up doing this as my inspiration for the RCS challenge.
The process is as follows
Applied 3D gloss gel through stencil all over the box. After it dried, painted the entire box with Folkart chalk paint Sea Side Villa. Gave a coat of Finnabair Crackle Paste. I really loved the beautiful cracks that were formed. Sprayed Lindy's Salt Water Taffy and let it dry. Applied a coat of heavy gesso over all the embellishments and adhered them to the lid. Added Finnabair Art stones and coloured with Ramblin Rose Pink. Highlighted the embellishments with Opal Magic Royal Robes and Art Alchemy Antique brilliance Lucky Emerald. Finally added Melange Art Pebbles and added my sentiment.
