Hi all
I'm at the Crafts Dreamy Blog with my take on the mood board inspiration for September. I was inspired by the Autumn, fall, leaves theme. When the sun shines through these leaves, it will look as if the Earth is covered with gold. 


This is the moodboard. Isn't it splendid??


Gave a background wash with Little Birdie Color Splash Lemon Zing

Applied a thick coat of Distress Crackle Paint

Slowly tiny cracks started appearing. 

Rubbed Folkart Antiquing Medium gently over the cracks.

Closeup of the cracks


Added few stamps to the background with Archival inks to create some interest.

Diecut few leaves, soaked them with Lindy's sprays and Color Splash sprays and adhered them to the base. 

Added my sentiment

Stamped leaves on the background to make it more interesting.

      Thanks for your quick reply! As Anat has said below, the main challenge at More Than Words isn't for cards, however we'd love to see you join in on the 23rd of each month for our mini challenge. You can enter as many cards as you like in that!

    This is truly a beauty. Thanks for joining our More Than Words challenge. I would encourage you to revise the challenge participation rules, as the The Main Challenge is open to layouts, canvases, planner pages and art journal pages only.
    No cards, tags, ATCs* or OTPs** are accepted - For those we have the mini challenge that starts on the 23 of wach month.
