Be You

"Always be proud of yourself. Nobody in this world is perfect or flawless. Everybody has their own limitations. Accept the way you are and go in the direction your heart tells you to go. " This is the affirmation that I give myself everyday when I get out of my bed.

I was inspired by the recipe challenge from Papericious.

I created this on a canvas base.

I gave a background with Tim Holtz Stencil and Papericious modelling paste. When dry, I spritzed the entire board with Papericious Spritz Radiant Orchid. Added a layer of Rubber Dance Old book page stamp with Library Green Archival Ink.

Next I cut out interesting shapes of papers from Pretty Basics Designer edition, Winter Rhymes Designer Edition and The Flora season Premium edition. Layered them with glue to the board.

Applied Papericious white gesso on Papericious 3D Shaker Circle frame. Stained it with Radiant Orchid Spritzz and adhered to the centre.

Die cut the rose petals and leaves on Papericious Vellum using the Heartfelt Creations die and heat set each layer of petals using White embossing powder. Coloured the flower and leaves with distress ink and adhered to the frame along with few more flowers. Added some Papericious Frosting Powder and Papericious Frosted Pine Sequins to the flowers and frame respectively.

Added a Papericious Lace Butterfly, Papericious Lace leaves and spritzed with Papericious Spritz Martian Green.

Finally added my sentiment.
