Altered Box for ATCs

REDUCE - REUSE - RECYCLE...

How nice would it be if we truly understood the meaning of this. The world would be a better place to live in.

Here's my first DT inspiration post for the Rhedd's Creative Spirit, an altered art challenge blog.

I did my bit to recycle and reuse an old wallet box to preserve my ATCs.

I started by applying a coat of Papericious heavy gesso on top of the lid.

Applied Papericious modelling paste through TCW stencil and let it dry.

In the meantime applied heavy gesso on to some Papericious White Chippies from Flourish, Floral Frame, Mandala  collection, and some leftover grey chippies from Papericious old collection.

 Spritzed Papericious Golden Yellow spray.

Painted the lid with Viva Precious metal Colour Turquoise. I was sceptical about using spritz on top, yet my mind was pushing me to try. So I sprayed the Golden yellow Spritz on top of the metallic turquoise and tada... I got this gorgeous new metallic green. I was excited when I got this shade. It was so perfect for the yellow chipboards.

Used the same technique with Papericious Spritz Martian Green and Viva Turquoise for the Papericious lace Leaves and Fancy Chain.

Spritzed Papericious Tangerine Tango on a bit of cheese cloth. (In my enthu, forgot to take picture of this step) 😁Layered the cheese cloth, chippies, lace trims and the Net bloom. Added Papericious cup sequins Yellow and Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear dust. Splashed black ink to bring all the elements together. Added some liquid pearls and glass drops to finish the top layer. Finally adhered pattern papers from the Papericious Gilded Onyx collection to the sides.

My new box for my precious ATCs is ready. Few more closeups for you
