Words are the most powerful tool of mankind. The meaning of a word is its use in the language. Words can be all positive and encouraging and gives one a good feeling or it can be all negative and discouraging destroying all goodness.
I'm at the Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Blog with the theme Words. And this is my take on the theme.
Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE.
IF YOU USE STAMPS BY HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS AND YOU ARE OUR RANDOM WINNER, YOUR PRIZE WILL BE DOUBLED!
Here's the process of my work.
Applied modelling paste through stencils and when dry, covered the canvas with black gesso.
Painted the canvas with Art Alchemy metallic paint Gold Amber.
Added some grungy background with stamps and Archival black ink.
I was inspired by Mudra's latest challenge make your own embellishments. So I pulled out a few threads from Burlap
Attached a cap that is used for jewellery making and made a tassel out of the burlap threads.
Stamped the flowers and leaves from Mudra Mendhika Stamp set and Mudra Leaves set.
Prepared Coffee decoction
Soaked the flowers in the decoction so it turns a little brownish shade. Oh!!! I just love this smell. AHHHH.... Coffee!!!😍😍😍
When the flowers took the desired amount of colour, I dried and assembled them. My embellishments are ready.
On Mudra chipzeb Fairytales/Unicorn, sprinkled some glitters.
Layered the flowers and leaves over a piece of cheese cloth and Mudra Elegant Frames and added my quote along with the fairy and tassel.
