Yesterday's moments... Today's memories...

Hi all..... I'm always fascinated about the history, art, culture and the topography of a place. Angkor Wat is one such place that has enthralled me from the day I came to know about its existence. An ancient temple for Vishnu built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II is a classic example of Khmer Architecture. My recent trip to Angkor Wat inspired me to create a scrapbook layout for the Papericious Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

For this Challenge, I have selected the diagonal row with Chipboards, Pattern Papers and Laces.

Following Papericious items were used to create my layout.

Chipboard - Heart Collage - All Yours
Chipboard - Be Mine
Fancy Chain
Spritz Spray colors - Bamboo
Spritz Spray colors - Martian Green
Crystal Clear by Rajni Chawla
Designer Edition Orange Fall
Designer Edition Shabby Brown
Chipboard Embellishments Ring Collage

And all these elements have totally complimented my layout. 😊

Here's how I did.

I created a Crafters Workshop template Mini Damask stencil background with modelling paste on a Shabby Brown pattern paper. I then added another background with Crafters Workshop template Butterfly collage stencil and ground expresso distress ink. Stamped with the damask stamp to blend with the background in order to merge the stencil design and the stamp design. Pasted the fancy chain lace and when dry, spritzed with Bamboo and Martian green. I then layered the distressed pattern papers from the Orange fall collection, the burlap patch and of course the photo of my husband and I with the magnificent Angkor Wat temple as the back drop. 😉
While it was drying, I adhered Rajni Chawla's crystal clear powder to the ring collage chippies. I have added these and the embellishments from Heart Collage all yours collections. And finally decorated it with art stones.

Voila! My entry for the Tic Tac Toe challenge at the Papericious Monthly Challenge:
