Golu... the divine display of clay dolls and figurines of Hindu Gods and Goddesses arranged on odd numbered steps... they are mostly thematic. The festivities have begun in India. Nava in Sanskrit means 9. The 9 days of Navarathri signifies the ultimate victory of good over evil. Different states in India celebrate the Navarathri in different manner. It is a festival of positive vibes and 9 whole days of these vibes, well, who wouldn't feel cheerful!
