Soar with Optimism

"Why do we fall sir??..... So that we learn to pick ourselves up."
This is my favourite quote from the Batman trilogy. It is a very simple quote with a lot of meaning to it. Feeling philosophical too.😑

Take the life cycle of a butterfly. It starts like a caterpillar crawling with difficulties, struggling to protect itself from predators. But give it time... And it transforms into a beautiful butterfly that soars with optimism and the cycle continues. Such is life. Every obstacle that life throws at us, is an opportunity to grow stronger and better.

We must believe in ourselves. We may not succeed immediately but give it time and we definitely will.

Hello everyone.....

Here's my take on the Papericious September Challenge with chipboards.
I have used corrugated sheet for the background with Papericious crackle paste for texture to depict the roughness of life. Then I added a layer of  cracked wall chippies. Distressed the whole layout with Vintage photo Distress ink spray. Gave a rustic look by adding ground espresso distress ink to show the struggles the butterfly goes through in its cycle as a caterpillar.

Next took the rings from ring collage and added art stones with a touch of vintage photo ink and inkagold to represent the patience the caterpillar has inside the cocoon. While this was drying, I took a butterfly from the Butterflies collage, added a layer of inka gold, as the butterfly emerges beautiful and shiny from the struggle. Finally assembled all the elements together with tassel hangings and a quote to make a beautiful wall decor.

Following are the Papericious materials that was used for the collage.
Papericious White Crackle paste
Papericious Cracked wall chippies
Papericious ring collage
Papericious butterflies collage

Other materials used are
Distress ink Spray Vintage Photo
Distress ink Ground espresso
Inka gold - Gold
Art stones
Rings
Handmade Tassel
